Geoff works with partners and brands nationally to advance the goals of all of the properties within the JMI Sports multimedia rights portfolio. He has over 10 years of experience in sports partnerships and has worked with some of the biggest brands and leaders in the industry.
Prior to joining JMI Sports, Geoff worked at Roc Nation Sports in New York City, founded by Jay-Z. He was responsible for executing marketing and endorsement deals for clients in Roc Nation’s baseball division including CC Sabathia, Jazz Chisholm, and Robinson Cano. Before that, Geoff worked in Major League Baseball with the Oakland Athletics. There he developed and executed exclusive partnerships in a variety of industries, including insurance, banking, beverage, video game, and cloud-based communications. He also worked on the naming rights deal for the Oakland Coliseum, now the RingCentral Coliseum.
Geoff is a native of Coventry, Rhode Island. He got his start in professional sports as a teenager, working as a clubhouse attendant for the Pawtucket Red Sox. He then earned a full-time position in the front office where he worked closely with Larry Lucchino, former President of the Boston Red Sox, on modernizing the minor-league affiliate’s partnerships and business operations.
Geoff graduated from Becker College in Worcester, Massachusetts with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a minor in Sports Management. He played college baseball at Becker, where he was captain and an all-conference player. Geoff enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Vanessa, golfing at Torrey Pines, and watching baseball.
