Brandon’s role is focused on aligning key partners’ marketing objectives with the goals and vision of the university. He directs the team that oversees all key partnerships and renewal business, as well as gameday activations, partner hospitality, and stadium/arena signage.
Brandon was promoted to Director of Key Partnerships on the University of Kentucky property after five years of significant success in account sales. In his time with JMI Sports, Brandon has played an essential role in several naming rights and marquee sponsorship projects including a unique partnership with the Keeneland Association, highlighting the horse racing tradition in Central Kentucky. Several other long-term partnerships were steered by Brandon and his team, including the Central Bank Center naming rights project at Rupp Arena. Before joining the JMI Sports team, Brandon was a District Sales Manager for Sherwin-Williams in Indianapolis.
A native of Lancaster, Kentucky, Brandon holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Berea College. He is also proud father of Kate and Riley and husband to Rachel Newman Baker.
